FAQs
Do you accept insurance?
I am in-network with Moda, PacificSource Commercial (not OHP/Community Solutions), Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Providence. Please verify coverage with your insurance provider.
For any other insurers, I’d be happy to provide you with a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. However, you will be expected to pay out-of-pocket for the full cash rate at the time services are rendered.
You’re out of network with my insurance. How do I seek reimbursement from my insurance provider?
For out-of-network services, I can provide a superbill, a list of services already rendered.
Check with your provider to determine if they will reimburse you for my out-of-network mental health services. They may give you partial or full reimbursement; however, this varies widely depending on your insurance provider and plan.
What’s your cancellation policy?
I require at least 24-hours notice of cancellation prior to your scheduled session. If you cancel less than 24-hours before your scheduled session, you will be subject to the current full cash rate.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Cash, checks, major credit cards, and HSA/FSA debit cards.
Do you offer in-person or online therapy?
Yes. I offer in-person sessions in Bend, Oregon, as well as virtual therapy across Oregon and Utah using a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform.
What is Brainspotting?
Brainspotting is a brain-body based therapy that helps process trauma and emotional distress by accessing the subcortical part of the brain—where many trauma responses live. We do this by finding a specific eye position (“brainspot”) connected to an emotional or bodily experience. It allows deeper processing than talk therapy alone, often without needing to retell the full story.
Brainspotting is similar to EMDR in that it uses eye position to access deep brain processing, but it’s often more intuitive, slower-paced, and led by your internal experience rather than a structured protocol.

What happens in the first session?
We’ll start by getting to know each other—what’s bringing you in, what you’re hoping for, and what feels most important to focus on. You don’t need to have it all figured out. My job is to help you explore, not to rush or push. We’ll move at your pace.
If you’re ready to setup a consultation call, let’s connect.
How long are sessions?
Sessions are typically 55 minutes. Extended sessions and intensives are available upon request.
What if I’m not sure I’m ready for therapy?
Something might be stirring, and you’re not sure if you’re ready—that’s okay. You’re welcome to reach out with questions or schedule a consultation to explore whether we’re a good fit. No pressure. When you're ready, I'm here to support you in moving forward.
Is therapy confidential?
Yes. Everything we talk about is confidential, with a few legal exceptions: if there is risk of harm to yourself or others, or suspected abuse or neglect of a child, elder, or vulnerable adult, I’m required to report it. I’ll go over this in more detail during our first session.
